Bristol Palin will be the focal point of a reality series given a 10-episode order by Bio. The series is scheduled to premiere before the end of the year.

The untitled project will follow Palin and her son Tripp as they work on a charity while living with Kyle Massey (whom Palin met as a contestant on "Dancing With the Stars") and his brother Christopher.

Palin first gained national attention as the daughter of 2008 vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin and the subsequent coverage of her becoming a teenage single mother. Her fame then increased through her fall 2010 appearance on "Dancing," where she reached the final round despite questions of her ability.

No air-date given, but I would assume production would take at least a few months, so probably a fall or winter debut is likely.

I just hope she isn't using this to embarrass her family. What I have been reading lately might be exactly what is about to happen. Hope not.

If she goes shopping with Kathy Griffin in the first episode, I think we'll have a pretty good idea where it's headed.

Uhnfortunately, when she does this, she puts herself in the public eye and weakens the argument that she shouldn’t be attacked by the Sarah Palin haters. If she puts herself in the spotlight, she opens herself up to criticism, fair and unfair.

Whatever Bristol is trying to accomplish, I'll guarantee you the producers are up to no good.

Good for Bristol! Turning lemons into lemonade is a good trait to possess.

I think she has every right to make a living, but I wish she could put these kind of this on the back burner until after 2012. She wants everything now and as a result she could end up hurting Sarah and the country, in my opinion.
Bristol and Todd are probably the only two people in the country that could pull the rug out from under Sarah. I think Todd is solid, but Bristol is young and fame has went to her head. On the other hand, if Bristol makes a good showing of herself it could benefit Sarah. Bristol has the opportunity to show the country that the Palins are not bridge trolls.

That is a funny comment considering your tagline.

Yeah, the whiny libs will complain that it’s so not fair that Bristol is on TV just because she’s Bristol. And they’ll make fun of the way she dresses, her hair, blah, blah.

Then they’ll flip over to MTV and watch Teen Mom, Jersey Cows, I mean Jersey Shore, and Skins.

I don’t understand the draw these reality shows have for people. I mean for the people who are in them. It’s a mystery to me. They never make anyone look good, and especially if her Mom is going to run for President. She would be much better served to write a book or almost anything else. I can’t believe she couldn’t do any number of other things if she needs to make a living.

The whining will blow out transmitters all over the world.

I hope she does a good job. She’s attractive and likeable. Unless she does something weird on this series, I don’t see the downside. The gossip sites say she’s had some ‘work done.’

I hope she’ll lose the baby fat as people are just vicious about 20 extra pounds.

Too bad Bristol isn’t getting an education so when her 15 minutes of fame is up she can at least support herself and her son.

Unfortunately, this also contributes to the image of the Palin family being publicity-seeking reality TV types, however many times we’ll be told she’s doing it for the good of the charity.

Mom’s just gotta come out wonking in the GOP primary race.

How about attending college? That’s probably what’d most help her mom at this point.
