I’d be absolutely shocked if there were even more “spontaneous” crime waves as it heats up. The Las Vegas area is virtualy unbearable without creature comforts in the summertime, and people are unemployed all over the place,

So, this is caused by heat and unemployment?

Nope. A correlation in no way indicates a cause and effect relationship.

Unemployment doesn’t cause crime. It merely gives some people (including the criminally disposed) more time on their hands, and arguably less inhibition.

P.S. I don’t like it when someone tries to preposition an argument by jumping to a conclusion and then acting like it was my idea. No thanks.
