admit I came a bit late to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I had seen the rather silly cinematic version on VHS at a friends house, but didnt feel compelled to watch the television show. Meanwhile, I had gone through an extended period of not watching television at all. It wasnt until a friend at work mentioned that she was a Slayer that I took notice. I did a double take and asked her what she was talking about. This was 1998, when Buffy was in her second year as a series and was just starting to take off. It wasnt until a couple of years later that I ran across an episode of the teen drama and finally understood what all the buzz was about. I was officially hooked and went back looking for all the previous episodes as well as watching each new one as it came out.

Loved, loved Buffy. Super funny and exciting. Loved Angel also. Glad David Boreanz got a new gig, he was excellent in both shows.
I have sworn off looking up favorite stars in Wikipedia as I usually find something I don’t want to know.
I’d heard somewhere that Sarah was conservative. Maybe that’s why she hasn’t gotten any good parts lately.
Just as Texas can’t get any Fema money for the devastating fires, conservatives can’t get parts unless, of course, their name is sumin’ like Bruce Willis.
Its on the channel “Chiller”, if you get it.
I’m kind of sort of related to Sarah Michelle Gellar. One of my Mom’s first cousins married Freddie Prince Jr’s uncle.FPJr is her husband.
a couple of the gang don't want to celebrate Thanksgiving because it represents the evil white man killing all the Indians, hating demons is called "bigotry", etc
I really didn't like all the whining about the "native americans" either; however, Giles did give an opposing viewpoint (the adult in the room) and the comment by Spike (as close as I can remember): "What if Julius Caesar felt this way, "I came, I conquered, I felt really bad about it". It almost (almost) redeemed the entire episode.
They rerun the series on Chiller [my channel 168] every AM at eight, and run a bunch of episodes back to back on Sun., at midnight.
One thing the reviewer forgot to mention is the show’s humor. I still remember when Dracula introduces himself to Buffy in a graveyard with all the usual ‘blah blah blah”. Her response? “Get out!”
Let’s not forget old Spike. One of the best characters they ever did.
Curiously, I just re-watched the episode “The Body” last night.
I think it’s one of the best episodes of any TV show ever. And you can watch it and enjoy it without having seen Buffy before, with only a very little explanation.
Other outstanding eps - Hush (uber creepy!), and Once More with Feeling. Of course there are others but those immediately jump to mind.
Yes, Spike was great. Of all the stars from the two shows, I guess David has done the best. Oddly enough, one of my least favorites, the nerdy friend they decided to make lesbian, has done pretty well in some sitcom... is it How I Met Your Mother?
Anyway, Sarah hasn’t done that much. the old dude has a part in the sci fi series Merlin that I kinda like.
Seth Green left early on, but I loved his part. He’s done pretty good doing some dumb movies.
Who else, who else?
A lot like Bones. Good shows with good characters and writing but over time its clear that the cold liberal Bones is totally superior to the RC loving military guy Booth. And the only religion really respected is Islam.

Actually that was only from Willow and she admits that
I came to watch Buffy late. I think it was last year when I went through all the episodes. Spike was my favorite character, but the actor who played him, James Marsters, is a flaming lib.
I used to follow Sarah Michele Gellar, till she faded out of the spotlight,(was it because she is conservative?), due to her connection to All My Children. Sarah was the first Kendall for only three years then left and 4 years later Alicia Minshew replaced. Sarah did very good as Buffy. She took a movie that bombed in 92 and helped make it a viewable tv show. However, her movies haven’t been as good and she faded following 2006 and a horrible film she did with Mandy Moore and Dawyne “the Rock” Johnson. I think she was in the Scooby-Doo sequel with flaming Lib Alicia Silverstone, but never saw it or heard much press about it. The original film was her last hit.
The horrible movie Sarah did with Mandy Moore, the singer, was called Southland Tales. She did follow it up with the Grudge 2 which was a much better film. It came out just a year after the original movie. Seems Sarah did voices on Robot Chicken. She seems to be black balled by hollywood due to her political views. Her last two films were tv movies. The Wonderful Maladys and The Ringer. it is a shame because she could be a lot better.
Ypuw ill notice how a lot of conservative actors/ actresses are being pushed out of big movies. With exception to the likes of The Rock, and Kelsey Grammer among a few who have done big things. But the likes of LeAnn Rimes, who also acts, Patrica Heaton, Gary Sinise just don’t get big roles. Hence why Sinise went to CSI: New York.

Emma Caulfield is “ultraconservative”. She voted for Bush then was for Ron Paul in 2008, but ended up supporting John McCain. She played the demon Anya Jenkins on the television series Buffy the Vampire. Her breakout role was as the GF of Brandon Walsh on 90210.
She is one heck of a cutie pie.
Don’t forget almost the entire cast of The Expendables.
+1 MEOW
