That is one of the many problems with this weenie; he has zero consistency [with the exception of abortion and radical leftist causes] and even less loyalty. If he started to catch heat over the idea that Osama was ‘murdered’, he would throw the SEAL team under the bus twice as fast as he threw Typical White Granny and Jeremiah Wright. Yet there was a thread the other day beating up on this site for not sufficiently rejoicing over Osama’s death. I guess it never occurred to the OP that Obama’s narcissistic treachery had anything to do with that.

Bin Laden was taken out by an extremely efficient, and marvelous hit squad. Anybody with half a brain can see this. Trying to nuance it into anything else, trying to make it more politically correct, is just a fool errand. We took him out, and that’s that. In Obama’s limp wristed, legalistic world, such things are just not done, yet that is what has happened. The more he tries to justify the assassination in his convoluted liberal mindset, the bigger idiot Obama appears to be.

You are of course correct, but back then we were fighting a country (2 actually), today we are fighting an ideology (and a fake religion). You can’t declare war on an idiology and unless we declared war on every single ME country which supports terrorism, which is pretty much all of them, we could not do what we did during WWII. And we don’t have nearly large enough military to do that now. We would have to bring back the draft and we know the libs won’t go for that. Personally I would not want some conscripted lib who hates our country and our military covering my back. Though I would put him as the first man in the stack on a raid. You can never have enough bullet traps when taking down a building.

What we are left with is a war without borders, without a FEBA and without an organized military to oppose. But the threat is no less dangerous.
