This is a publicity stunt for a failing brand.
Don't get excited.

Superman, being from Kryptonite, was never a citizen to begin with.
Deport him.

I gave up comics when I was about 8. And from what I see getting posted, there aren’t any comics I would buy for a kid now. They are all liberal political propaganda sheets.
But it has been about 45 years since I’ve read one, so what do I know?
And even 45 years ago, I thought there was something very wrong about Superman...

Superman is an illegal immigrant, and with a name like “Kal-el”, he’s probably a Muslim.
Bottom line...
Who cares?

Jewish!
My take is this...
Being an American means never having to say you are sorry for publicly disagreeing with the current US government.
He took a stance that was more American than the American government - support of demonstrations in Iran against the tyranny there.
He should have explained that being an American - his opinions were his own - and would continue to be - because he IS an American and is FREE to say and do what he wants without fear of official punishment.

The IRS can still get him for taxes even if he renounces citizenship.

Well, hes at least still in the closet!Lois Lane still his beard?
Maybe he's trying to escape takeoff and landing taxes. It's bound to have become pretty expensive.
Also I didn't know the illegal alien could fly. Back when I was reading the first issues of the Superman comics, he could only leap tall buildings in a single bound.
And he was faster than a speeding locomotive. Or was that some other superhero?

Theyre prepping everyone. Yes, but they're focusing more and more on prepping the kiddies.

where is the choice for: Screw Superman, we have Seals and Delta Force and Marines. Who needs a wimp wearing tights and angst-ing all over the place about “perception issues”?
