That’s not really superscript. Superscripted characters are smaller and usually heavier

Depends on what you can live with. Go back and look at the Rather forgeries to see exactly what is meant. That part of the problem wasn’t the part that proved the case anyway.

Some of the fancier typewriters, even then, had a superscipt "2" on the keyboard, as it was the most commonly used superscript.
