You are being unfair. Obama wanted to out the team that actually did the deed; but the General made him sign a non disclosure statement. Some Commander in Chief.

Do you have a source for that?

A high ranking officer in our Armed Services demaning a sitting President to sign something concerning information that is already regulated by several laws and executive orders? I’m not exactly a history buff but I’m unaware of anything like that happening, ever.

I know the civil military relationship has had some tense points (Korea, Cuban Missle Crisis, Vietnam) but something about that just seems off to me. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
