I agree with the original poster. This seals the deal for Obama in 2012. People keep citing the approval ratings of Bush Sr and Bush Jr. but the difference is they did not have the media in their pocket (including Fox News ) the way Obama does.
The truth is even before this Obama had to be considered a strong favorite to get re-elected given his GUARANTEED 100 % black vote and 70% hispanic vote are nearly impossible to overcome given the current racial make up of the USA ( it wont be long before blacks and mexicans out number whites) so it wont get any better for future election cycles.
Now you have this ... The media will give ALL the credit to Obama.
I would be shocked if Trump ran after this. Why would he waste all his own money on a losing cause, and ditto for Romney. I believe we will be left with some 3rd string candidate like T-Paw just because somebody has to run, and they will probably lose 45-47 states.

The GOP couldn't lose 45-47 states if we dug up Nixon and ran him. Do you honestly think the South, Texas, Oklahoma and Alaska would ever go for Obama?
