Looking back on my wedding day I am trying imagine my grammy bestowing titles to my bride Like "Lady of Lake Pend Oreille" and renaming me "Johnny Sting Ray" Duke of all Corvettes in Idaho.
I wouldn't trade them all for for her hand made quilt. Any descendant of tyrants and pompous ass royals can cook up silly "nobility titles" but only a real grammy can make a quilt like that.

Not everyone can be as humble and simple as you and your quilt either. You should feel pity for the royals.

Perfect! My grandma used to make quilts for the local hospital beds when I was a kid. Luckily I got three of them for myself after she passed.
One I use for sick days on the couch, beautiful flannel and very warm. The other two are "laid up" in a closet.
Nothing like grandma's flannel quilt to make you feel loved. Somehow it just makes the sickness pass faster.
