Off with their hats! It was bigger than the Super Bowl and as tacky as a legion of Elvis impersonators. Most of all, it was disturbingly white. Yesterday's little wedding of William and Kate, a worldwide showcase of dreadful hats, fad diets and an unusually sour, lemon-yellow-clad queen, was designed to prove to the common man that the royals, finally, were down with the people. But from the moment a triumphant Kate tiptoed with her dad onto the red carpet -- yes, she walked an actual red carpet to and from the altar -- I saw not a potential queen. Kate bore the look of a lithe human sacrifice. Or was she ready to faint from her starvation diet? Her mouth smiled. But in her eyes -- terror. Who can blame her? Kate waited eight years for this moment, outlasting an endless parade of bimbos and stunning babes, most of them blond, at least five of them wedding guests (go figure, Brits), to win the hand of the badly balding heir to the throne. "You look beautiful!" William said, sounding a trifle too surprised, as she sailed into his orbit. These had to be the second-most dorky words ever to emerge from the mouth of a prince, after Wills' dad's unfortunate musings on becoming Camilla's feminine hygiene product. Kate did her best to paint on a smile, as the claustrophobically reserved royal mob made asses of themselves, craning their necks to give Kate the once-over, like a hunk of meat. It was showtime! I do want them to buck policy and tradition and if they do not use their positions to promote the truth,...including the theft of it’s decent citizen’s wealth, then they are not courageous really in my book. So what if it is against policy! Let them take the consequences! Could you imagine a queen or prince speaking on pro life issues and taxation as Reagan did? It would create a firestorm and that would be good! We need some drama for good! We are at war with evil in case you have not noticed.

I was talking about royalty, not just the queen. And maybe i will run for office one day. Right now I am beginning a business and doing all that I can to help regain our countries freedom. If I was born into that royalty, i know that I would speak at every chance on the plight of poor people who are sucked dry by excessive government policy and the murder of unborn children. Maybe they would feel the need to boot me out and that would be ok by me! I think you are actually a bit thick to not see my point and sort of cheer it on, extreme as it may seem. Or maybe just a bit weak.
The old bag has not stood up for traditional Christian values even within her own family.
Her personal life has been an utter shambles.
3 of her 4 trust-fund kids are divorced.
She is the titular head of a church that has ordained woman, and embraces active homosexuals.
She never takes a stand on such things.
She is a rich old lady that let her family down and who did not have the courage to stand up for the things that were actually good about England.

OTOH, I did supply you with an historical fact of what happened to Prince Charles, quite a long time ago, when he spoke out about the ugliness of modern architecture, which is a far less controversle topic. You chose to completely ignore that and keep on blundering on.

Look, it's not the Queen's place to do what you want here to do; titular head of the church or not, vis-a-vis "speaking out about Christian values".
His father forced Charles into a marriage he didn't want to make,denied him the ability to marry the one he wanted to marry, so his divorce was a foregone conclusion; especially considering who he was fored to marry.
Neither of us are privy to why the two other siblings divorced, however, there is no shame in being divorced. Both Charles and Anne appear to now be in happy marriages.
Don't you have anything else to be upset about than the Queen of England and her family ?

There is no policy or tradition that permits shacking up.
There is nothing romantic about two shack ups (who had no need to shack up given their wealth) mocking the biblical notion of marriage the way they did.
Wearing nice clothes and riding in a carriage does not make these two any less slutty, or their relatives any less nutty.
