I have total disrespect for these two because of what they did. AT the same time, if Charles had had any spine when they were younger and dating, and had he proposed to her then she would have said yes. But he was true to form and dithered so she married Parker-Bowles..
I would not doubt that they had an arrangement as it would not surprise me to learn he dallied as much as she did over all the years with Charles.
Had Charles showed some spine these two would have been married at the start and Diana would have gone on to have a life she desired more than anything...a family and a man who loved HER which Charles didn’t...if he did he would have taken to heart the vows he took to forsake all others...he must have had his fingers crossed.

Charles was not allowed to marry Camilla, the woman he loved. She had too much of a 'dating' history and the palace decided he should marry someone who was younger who had not been dating.

Obviously they regret that decision now.
