That is obviously a forged document and you are working for team Obama to destroy Donald Trump./sarcasm
Nobody but conservatives give a diddly-damn about prior military service, especially not the enemedia. It isn’t a bombshell. It isn’t even a lady finger under a tin can.
Trump and Romney. Both are cowardly draft-dodgers.
Business Insider is an odd name for a left wing web site.
Boy! He hasn’t even announced yet, and he’s being shot down! The Progressives must really be afraid of this man!
so now Obama and his goons attack.
If this is their best shot Trump is going to be just fine.
I read that Trump had a high draft number. Good catch.
Trump and Romney have even more in common now. Rich draft dodging punks.
If you’re going to push liberals, realize they fight back, usually fighting dirty.
Funny, Trump’s, (a private citizen), draft records appear, but BHO’s birth certificate was like pulling teeth from a chicken, and his college transcripts are still MIA.
OH, please!
Most Republicans in civilian government avoided military service - Dick Cheney, is one that comes to mind.
Even Rush Limbaugh didn’t sign up.
I’m just a typical American boy
From a typical American town
I believe in God and Senator Dodd
And an keepin’ old Castro down
And when it came my time to serve
I knew better dead than red
But when I got to my old draft board
Buddy, this is what I said
Sarge, I’m only eighteen, I got a ruptured spleen
And I always carry a purse
I got eyes like a bat, and my feet are flat
My asthma’s getting worse
Consider my career, my sweetheart dear
My poor old invalid aunt
Besides, I ain’t no fool, and I’m goin’ to school
And I’m workin’ in a defense plant
I’ve got a dislocated disc and a racked up back
I’m allergic to flowers and bugs
And when the bombshell hits, I get epileptic fits
And I’m addicted to a thousand drugs
I got the weakness woes, I can’t touch my toes
I can hardly reach my knees
And if the enemy ever came close to me
Well, I’d probably start to sneeze
Sarge, I’m only eighteen, I got a ruptured spleen
And I always carry a purse
I got eyes like a bat, and my feet are flat
My asthma’s getting worse
Consider my career, my sweetheart dear
My poor old invalid aunt
Besides, I ain’t no fool, I’m a goin’ to school
And I’m workin’ in a defense plant
I hate Chou En Lai, and I hope he dies
But I think you gotta see
That if someone’s gotta go over there
That someone isn’t me
So, have a ball, Sarge, watch ‘em fall
Yeah, kill me a thousand or so
And if you ever get a war without any gore
Well, I’ll be the first to go
Sarge, I’m only eighteen, I got a ruptured spleen
And I always carry a purse
I got eyes like a bat, and my feet are flat
My asthma’s getting worse
Consider my career, my sweetheart dear
I got to water my rubber tree plant
Besides, I ain’t no fool, I’m a goin’ to school
And I’m workin’ in a defense plant
Sarge, I’m only eighteen, I got a ruptured spleen
And I always carry a purse
I got eyes like a bat, and my feet are flat
My asthma’s getting worse
Consider my career, my sweetheart dear
My poor old invalid aunt
Besides, I ain’t no fool, I’m a goin’ to school
And I’m workin’ in a defense plant
It has LAYERS!!
Tancredo avoided the draft and was employed by public schools.
The process however will be farcical.
You just knew it was coming didn’t you?
I've always wondered how it is that with all of his DOZENS of medical, school, passport, birth, Social Security, etc., records there has not been ONE person who was willing to release even ONE of any of those?
As a Nam Vet, this does not sit well with me, BUT, I only wish the Smoking Gun and everyone else "gunning" for Trump would work as dilligently to unearth Dear Leaders well-hidden paper trail.
“Most Republicans in civilian government avoided military service - Dick Cheney, is one that comes to mind.”
“Even Rush Limbaugh didnt sign up.”
Never thought I would meet a conservative who would condone dodging the Vietnam draft.
This is the exact document that John Kerry has never released, and his failure to release it is why he lost the 2004 election.
At least Donald had the honesty to release his.
You are obviously too young to remember Vietnam and the draft situation. Student deferrals were very acceptable and common. Everyone went to college if they could get in and stayed there as long as the war continued. They either stayed in school or became a teacher.
I actually think that the Vietnam draft contributed to the practice of graduate student assistants teaching classes in colleges and increase in government funded research by graduate students.
