Without a doubt, the best pizza is from Aurillio's in the Chicago area. Anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong! ;-)

Since I grew up in the Chicago area, I prefer the pizza from that area (both deep dish and thin crust). I moved to Orlando a few years ago, and they have New York style pizza here, which I can barely tolerate.

Gino's East is also very good.

Aurillio’s is pretty good. I used to go to the one in Chicago Hts. I liked the spice shakers on the table. I’ve tried NY style pizza that was recommended by a dozen New Yorkers and 3 or 4 people from NJ. Chicago pizza is better to me. However, NW Indiana has the best pizza IMHO. Chicago is very, very close what with all the great ones like Gino’s East, etc. But people would come FROM Chicago to Hammond for House of Pizza. They’ve been there since the early or mid-fifties.

I used to get pizza from Rosati’s when I lived in Illinois. I still have their keychain after being gone for 5 years!
