Gino’s East, hands down. Hats off to the Lou Minatti’s. crowd. Aegean’s Pizza in South Shore Mall on Long Island makes a hell of a pie, too.
Agree with you about Gino’s East, but in Little Italy, off of Taylor Street, there were mom-and-pop Italian restaurants that gave you a pizza four inches deep. That was magnificent, made by Italian-American families by hand. This thin-crust New York crap is scandalous. No wonder people there are insane, they don’t have decent pizza.
