It's been a loooong day. So long that when the guys came in from working the south 40 all day with only sandwiches for lunch, they sat down, I served them fresh salad, sliced tomatoes and homemade spaghetti sauce w/ freshly made pasta that was minus one ingredient. The MEATBALLS!
They enjoyed the meal & never said one word about there being no meat protein. Good thing I made extra sauce, lol. I didn't even realize it until I was cleaning up. They said it was ok and that I can serve it to them for lunch tomorrow.

At that point they probably would have eaten anything...just keep it comin’. :) Besides...homemade spaghetti sauce and fresh pasta? No wonder they didn’t miss the meatballs! You must exhausted.

I was exhausted from cleaning & then of course keeping a close eye on mamma kitty who broght her 5 new wee ones up on the deck so they had a comfy insulated room (omaha steaks cooler) to nestle in.
Tomorrow I have 3 quilts to repair, so having leftovers is going to make the day go much easier.

Awww. How old are the kittens?
You repair quilts? You happen to be in California would you?

I figure the kitties are no more than a days old as their eyes are not open yet & mamma was still pretty plump Mon AM. And, no, not in California but I’ll be spending a few days there this fall to visit the Reagan Library since my visit in Feb got cut short.

Two summers ago one of the many stray cats around our mobile home park had kittens under our neighbor's home. When they got old enough to come out and play we'd spend much time during the day just watching them. They can be so funny.
I have an old comforter made out of wool suit material. Heavy and so so warm but the stitching is coming undone in a few places. Nothing serious. I could do it myself but I'm allergic to sewing needles. ;^)

You should check with a local shop, they might know of someone who does repair work in your area.

His poems have been ignored by the mainstream media. He sounds like a victim of child abuse crying out for help.
Here's another one.

UNDERGROUND
Under water grottos, caverns
Filled with apes
That eat figs.
Stepping on the figs
That the apes
Eat, they crunch.
The apes howl, bare
Their fangs, dance,
Tumble in the
Rushing water,
Musty, wet pelts
Glistening in the blue.
