a kukri will take a head off instantly with very little effort.

Baloney. That would take a very large and heavy sword, or a guillotine, or a jedi light sabre.

nope. It’s true. google gurkas in the korean war. a kukri is a thick heavy knife. sort of a cross between a machete and a hatchet. One flick of the wrist and a human head comes off like it’s not even there.

A kukri is a chopping weapon, not a slicing or stabbing weapon. A single swing could easily decapitate a person.

The kukiri will, if the guy is wearing a helmet, slice through the neck of an unwary sentry.

If the guy is not wearing a helmet, they split his head like a watermelon.

The Argentinians said that you knew the Brits have deployed their Gurkhas (the guys with the kukiris) because you wake up in the morning and YOUR HEAD FALLS OFF!

Check the post where they show the blade, it is a chopper, and can easily decapitate.

Demo of kukri chopping. Might not have taken her head off with one swing, but would not have taken too many chops.
