I have no problem with Clear Channel making money off this charlatan. It's helping to fund their conservative talk station WXKS AM 1200 in Boston...
"Jesus Is Coming, Look Busy"...
Does the lease on these billboards go beyond May 21, 2011?
The problem with the “May 21st = Judgement Day” campaign is not Clear Channel making money off it, it is the loss of faith and loss of face that will occur when May 22nd arrives and Judgement Day hasn’t happened. The Bible says that no man shall know:
“Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.”
This is a remarkable statement - insofar as that despite the communion that Jesus had with the father while on earth, that this information was even withheld from him during his earthly incarnation!
Why the heck then would it be revealed to Harold Camping?
Ridiculous...and yet he will go along his merry way, and when May 22nd rolls around mutter something about miscalculation and try and keep his radio business afloat despite unbelievers saying “oh, there go those wacky Christians again.”
Don’t get me wrong - there is plenty for unbelievers to dislike Christianity without having to manufacture stuff. like this.
The things the leaders of Iran believe about the Mahdi are 10X weirder than anything these peaceful people believe.
Make fun of them Clear Channel. I dare you.
Maybe these liberal leaning companies are trying to minimize ‘Armed Forces Day’ - which is Saturday, May 21, 2011.

Does anyone think it interesting that his name is a synonym for herald?
