This is most likely a myth.

He paid his campaign's law firm $2M (approximately) after the campaign was over, to handle various obligations arising from the campaign. This firm also filed appearances in all the various dismissed lawsuits about the eligibility issue.

It is very, VERY unlikely that is cost anything like $2M to fill out court papers for a dismissed lawsuit, even if there were many such suits. There were no briefs, no depositions, no hearings or motions (other than to dismiss).

At first I thought it was true, but, after thinking about it for awhile I figured I’d better ask before I stick my foot in my mouth. I hate that foot and mouth diseases ;) And I didn’t want to eat crow, it taste so nasty.
