really? that’s why i was so incredulous about the SU campus bc i know you have to GO UPHILL to get there and couldn’t imagine how it would flood on a hill. knock wood, we have never had any flooding/water up on our hill, but the creek at the entrance to the neighborhood will often flood and so we will go out the back way.

it was the heavy rains, came down so hard and fast it flooded the area and we suffered....floods the patio and then it flows into the basement through the windows. the streets drain into self contained wells, when they fill the water has no where to go. the Susquehanna River was very high before yesterday’s rain. Binghamton area flooded the night before...I was down that way and saw the flood mud washed down into the roads. low intersections were closed. this rain better STOP!
