From what I can gather, Stanley Ann was 19 when Barry was born, not 18, as it shows on this, whatever-it-is thing the WH released (rerelease).
Also, why no seal? Why not a photo-copy of the original?
I believe Stanley Ann’s dob was 1/29/42 and Barry’s dob was 8/61. Maybe Ann forgot her age?
This is my problem with the scan. Even if it was scanned as OCR and layered as some are saying, even with sharpening, the embossed seal would show up. Even in a most transparent way. But it’s gone, other than a few pixels where it looks like a pencil tool was used to make white pixels. You can see it on the bottom left side.
Why not just make a photocopy and hand out?
Stanley Ann was born on 11/29/42. She was 18.

Stanley Ann Dunham was born on 11/29/42 (not 1/29/42), so she was 18 years old when Obama was born on 8/04/61. Had she been 19 when Obama was born, and had she resided in the U.S. until her 19th birthday (i.e., for 5 years after having turned 14), then Obama would be a U.S. citizen at birth even had he been born outside of the U.S. Alas, because she hadn’t lived in the U.S. for 5 years after turning 14 (because she wasn’t 19 yet), the only way that Obama could be a U.S. citizen at birth is for him to have been born in the U.S., which is why it was so important that he provide evidence of his birthplace.
