How Great Thou Art (By Carrie Underwood)

Love Vince Gill. Paid $500 for a pair of front row seats at one of his concerts.. Unfortunately he had a cold that night and only sang about half of the usual songs. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat.

Vince Gill and Alison Krauss are my two favorite vocalists, and two of the nicest people to boot. I saw Vince a couple of years back in Visalia, CA when he was on an acoustic tour with three of his buddies. There was a guy on piano, a guy on ... um, I think bass, and a guy playing a wooden box that he sat on, as a drum. And of course, Vince. He joked about how that tour was so he could afford to pay for the other tours where he carries along a 25 piece band of high dollar musicians. :)

I've seen AKUS a couple of times in Hanford, CA. I'd list Vince and Alison as the two musicians I'd most like to spend the evening with sitting on the front porch.

I went to a Vince Gill concert about 6 years ago. He played forever. Must have been 2.5 hrs. Great concert.
