Trump is telling us things we want to hear...So let’s not vote for him...Let’s vote for McCain who told us things we didn’t want to hear...
In The America We Deserve, Trump proposed a one-time 14.25 percent tax on individuals and trusts with a net worth of over $10 million. He predicted that it would raise $5.7 trillion, which we would use to pay off the national debt and pay for Social Security.
I believe part of that plan was that those who paid the tax would not be subject to estate taxes. Good deal for both. I’ll bet those impacted by his plan would like it.
If Ws a cowboy, whats Trump?
Spades
Not saying I agree with Trump’s proposal... but there’s nothing wrong with higher taxes when you’re fighting three wars. Sometimes common sense trumps ideology.
i’d rather stop fighting half hearted wars all over the globe for the elites and keep my money. Call me crazy.
Well I agree with you... but since that’s not happening right now, we have to pay for the ones we are fighting. Call me crazy.
But to be frank, hardly anyone on FR seemed to mind those wars when George Bush was in charge (even at the risk of being banned for criticizing them). Call me honest.
You forgot the evil laugh... Bwahahaha!!
Boo. lol
In fact, Trump’s being criticized on FR now for criticizing those wars, and Bush the idiot, then. So the rule is: “Obama’s wars bad; Bush’s wars good.” Color me skeptical.
That's as may be, but will Trump tell America that everything they buy at the big box store will go up 2x to 3x as a result?
If he does not say that as well, he's just another panderer promising all gain, no pain.
He called for higher taxes without the three wars...
Touche, you got me on that one.
That’s why I said “not saying I agree with his proposal”... but we did have a huge national debt and the tax was a one-time proposal vs. raising rates.
That said, anyone who thinks we’re going to eliminate a 14+ Trillion dollar debt now by cutting spending alone is smoking some good medical marijuana.
It’s easy to demagogue an issue. It’s a lot harder to put forth a solution... when you do, you’re attacked by the ideologues. As Trump and Paul Ryan have learned.
Which is also going to be made more difficult by Trump’s idea to go to a single payer (government) medical system.
Well at least not till Obama won in 08
ping
Maybe a great opportunist??
He is only trying to get Dumbo re-elected
