Too many PC choices mixed in.

Kate McKay's influence on this list pretty much ruined it...a list of men's movies should have been drafted by men. No chicks.

Good point. A man’s movie list should be movies men want to see, not what their girlfriends or wives want men to take them to.

CORRECT!

As far as all the Costner bashers I have to more or less agree, but to me Costner redeemed himself when he made 'Open Range'! Now that's a MAN's movie! Also a man's movie list needs to be more John Wayne heavy with movies like 'In Harm's Way', 'Hondo','The Sands of Iwo Jima' and the 'Man who shot Liberty Valance'.

I would also add the movie 'Secondhand Lions':"Hub: Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money, money and power mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil; and I want you to remember this, that love... true love never dies. You remember that, boy. You remember that. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. You see, a man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in."

My list would have the following as well: 'The Patriot'
'Saving Private Ryan'
'Caddy Shack'
'Uncommon Valor'
'Red Dawn'
'Big Trouble in Little China'
'The Natural'
To name a few.
