"...overproduction of nitrogen.."

????

He does know that Nitrogen is not "produced" by man, but is already in the atmosphere and the biosphere...

The facts don’t matter. Ends justify the means and all that.

Yes, but why worry with details?

Plus it is inert. What does all that matter when we are talking about the ozone hole (Whatever happened to that? Did it become unimportant?) and AGW?

When they assert "facts" which aren't they can build a very emotional case for doing stupid things. Reading that stuff makes me feel like a kid who is listening to a good storyteller narrate a fairy tale. It is easy to get lost in the story and ignore the impossible things which are happening.

A little girl not recognizing a talking wolf dressed in Grandma's nightclothes? Hey, it is part of the story! Ignore the unlikely and impossible stuff.

The use of CFL's, a little of which might escape into the atmosphere, is depleting ozone at the Earth's poles? That allows too many UV rays to get through the hole and give us all cancer? Ignore accepted science and common sense and enjoy the story.

One of the most common and absolutely-necessary-for-life elements is destroying the planet (Planet is one of those neutral words used to replace the warmer sounding Earth. I would think people would be more concerned with saving the Earth than the planet. Oh well, Earth has jungles and the planet has rain forest. Anyone confused yet? You do remember Tarzan, Lord of the Rain Forest don't you?) Just enjoy the story.

If we caused the Earth to warm, melt all the ice everywhere and kill us all except for marine life, wouldn't that agree with Darwin's Survival of the Fittest concept? Wouldn't we be back to where the Darwinists say we started, in the sea? So, what is the problem? Enjoy the story.

Drill here, drill now, drill everywhere! Let's get this show on the road!
