Well, I don’t know about “under the carpet” - but I don’t focus on it because I have no way of figuring it out. I’ll let a certain billionaire who can figure it out fight that battle. I will be interested to see where it leads.

We all have to pick and choose our battles. Bachmann chooses some very very important battles to fight. I don’t want her fighting Trump’s battle. That’s not sweeping it under the carpet, that’s focusing on what one does best.

It’s called time management.

Good political tactics, IMO. Right now, Trump is playing the part of a lightning rod to keep the issue out there and raise awareness. He has the $$$$ and media notoriety but really does not have to pay a political price.
