Somebody tried to sell me on walleye not long ago.

The jury in my belly is still out on that, don’t think I have ever et any.

Is pepper and olive oil good on one of those beasts?

walleye..Put the turkey fryer up to 400-425 degrees, take an 18” filet and bread it with egg, cornmeal and beer (or a boxed trail mix)and drop it in. It will fall about 12” and come floating to the top. No better fish ever. By the way, in PA many call them walleye ‘Pike’. BUT... they are a perch.

Wall eye isn’t a fun fish to catch, it just lays on the bottom of the lake and you think you have a snag, but fried in beer batter they sure are tasty...Had a friend with a secret beer batter receipt that was delicious with walleye
