Needs a name change. I am not going to eat anything named “crappie”. Took care of that in Louisiana, we call them Sac-a-lait.
That and *Bull* bream are the best eating fish to me.

Talk about bones though, them things are full of tiny pieces of skeletal matter. But at least you can eat and swallow without injury.
