Adios, Frank!
To: Beaten Valve
I know nothing about the Dodgers. How can the “owner” be told what to do?

I know nothing about the Dodgers. It's a Major League Baseball team in Los Angeles.

Goodbye McCourts, hello Dennis Gilbert, who is almost certainly the presumptive purchaser.

I wonder if there is actually a buyer, and that is why MLB did this? Selig must be good at poker. There has been no hint that he has even been THINKING of this.
What a development!! Hooray and hallelujah.

#4, my all-time favorite Dodger, Duke Snider!
You know, L.A. hasn’t even announced any plans for tribute to the man.... shameful.

Seriously, I almost don’t care who ends up with the team as long as he or she gets the team to bring home the hardware. We’re overdue.

This will be a disaster for the Dodgers. MLB took over the Expos and ran them until they were sold as the Nationals. While MLB held them they let the farm and scouting systems go to hell, the Nationals are just now starting to dig out from that hole.
