Is IE9 an improvement or just a change?
Why do they keep moving the damned reload function? Why with each version does it become harder to tell if a page is still loading? I need an indicator that I can see that tells me that data is still being received or if the page thinks that it is finished loading.
I’ve had some pages freeze with IE 9. No apparent reason why they freeze.
It’s a change.
And it hides how to tell the suggested sites toolbars to get out of your face.
The indicator at the bottom is still there, you just need to right click to activate it.
Don’t do it! I did it, and it’s not worth it. You will do better with Firefox 4 and/or Google Chrome. Both really fast Browsers that use HTML 5 (the future of browsers that no longer require Adobe Flash Player). Flash Player in the past eats up your memory. vs HTML 5 that does not and you can do a lot more.
You can go to YouTube and type in the blank field, “compare Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer”. It will show you what you are looking for. Good luck!
Forgot to add. It is stupid on The part of MS not to have your preferences change over.....instead with IE9, one needs to go through and reset all of their preferences.
Does MS even use focus groups? If so, who the hell are they talking to?
You mean other than being a hacker magnet?
Use the following 2 programs and it should clear your computer issues. I’ve been using both programs for over 5 years on both my computers. I have zero issues. It will help everything run like day 1. Including your McAfee.
CC Cleaner (It’s free, but they will ask for a donation)

Advance System Care ($19 a year but well worth it)

Good luck!
I’m on Windows 7 on an upgrade from Vista. I’m happy with IE9. Seems quicker. I like some of the new features including the Pin feature. I rarely get a IE stopped working notification. With it and an e-mail program running I am using only 42% of my 2038 MB memory.
So far so good...... Looks like they have condensed the controls and there is more space for the website. I like that a lot....
