The NYPD and the State Department are working with Russian officials to negotiate getting him back, but one law enforcement official tells the Daily News, "If he has money or influential ties there, he's gone. They won't send him back."

They could always offer to trade George Soros for him, the Russians would jump at that.

Money and influence has nothing to do with that issue.

Russia is not giving it’s citizens for trial in a foreign nations. It is written in their constitution.

Just like almost all other nations including US, with the exception of Israel and Argentina if memory serves me well.

NYPD official is incompetent or has to know it.
