All I had was a rusty little red wagon [still have it...a great help when I am gardening]
When I was his age, I had a freaking ‘63 Ford Fairlane
-pedal- car.
No “drifting”, no burning rubber, no remote control anything.
Just sheet metal and -pedals-!
A couple years later, I got an “X-15” for my birthday.
[a glorified metal Big Wheel with extremely squirrely and dangerous joystick steering that was supposed to resemble a jet fighter or some such thing]
Kids have such better toys now.....:(
