Just wondering how all the FReepers in the tornado areas are doing?
It's been a deadly couple of days across the South - hope everyone made it thru okay.

We live in the Tidewater area. No tornados near our house (at least none that I heard of) but one did hit in Chesapeake 3 miles from where my mom and two sisters were preforming in The Man Called Jesus play. I'm so glad they are safe.

My Daughter-in-law and Grandson were in the path of a tornado last night. It destroyed their on home at Camp Lejuene.
My 23 month old Grandson is in critical cond.
My Daughter-in-law suffered “minor” injuries.
My Son was in California at the time but was able to fly home this afternoon.
There were several demolished homes and on other critical injury on the base.

Raleigh area had 3 deaths and lots of power outages. Some areas (ours for example) only had high winds, strong rains and short power outages.
Thanks for asking...that’s what sets Freepers apart.

I’ve sent an email to an old friend of mine who lives in the area, and teaches at NCSU. I hope he’s OK.

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. - Base officials say 10 to 12 homes were destroyed, 40 to 60 homes were significantly damaged and 40 to 60 more homes have suffered minor damage including broken windows, siding, gutters and trees in the yard. A 23-month old child was flown to Pitt Memorial Hospital Saturday night and is still listed in critical condition with multiple trauma related injuries.
