These people at the school must be seeing their own homes, their own families.

Oh my gosh, I’m shaking. That last man who gets knocked down though pulls himself up ... the person who was with him is clearly swept away. Oh dear God.

Oh my God...The poor people running for their lives in the end is chilling. The cameraman had the good taste not to shoot their fate directly, but the horror...

It’s a different perspective of one I’d seen about 2 wks ago. Those people at the end looked like they were foolishly trying to save possessions

Incredible. Starts off slow, but eventually — and unbelievably — the water comes just about all the way up to the camera, carrying houses and debris.
To: decimon
Can't say enough good things about those who at the end of the video ran back towards the steps to rescue those tangled in the debris mass only to themselves be seen swept away right at video end.

I thought that, as well.
I just watched the last 30 seconds again, and the man in the blue jacket who is swept away...he was one who went back down to help the final people up the embankment.

The family gathered round to watch this. Almost too graphic!
Lord help these people!

Hard to even contemplate the terror of those engulfed and the despair of those who survived.

i thought at first they might have been saving possessions, but looking closely, I am pretty sure they are pulling a person in a wheelchair (right at the 5 minmark).

Wow. Early in the film you can see a car driving under the bridge on the right toward the tsunami.

Hard to even contemplate the terror of those engulfed and the despair of those who survived.Yes. I don't think the people there could have comprehended what was happening.

I have watched all the videos on line and I don’t quite know why the water is so black.
When watching the Indonesia tsunami videos the water is not black.
In Japan it seems the water boiled up from hell.

I would guess that Japan has more topsoil than Indonesia.
