I remember as a kid growing up in NYC in the early 50s, it seemed like the World Serious was the Brooklyn Dodgers v. NY Yankees every year. My dad was a lifelong Yankees fan.
Brooklyn was then another world. Now it’s the ‘hip’ place for young folks to live. But they don’t got no Dodgers :(
Given recent event in LA, and in Brooklyn, maybe the team should move back. LA Dodgers never sounded quite right.
