He usually tries to be funny in bad reviews. I mean how else would you say something was bad?

Roger Ebert

This says it all . . . now I can't wait to see it . . . If this goober hates it, it's probably good.

and I suppose the movie Young Guns was “in the future” when the glory of riding horses was supposed to be all the rage?

IT’S A PERIOD MOVIE! jagoff!
sarc - no I agree with the Libertarians that the future is the rise of great trains again /sarc

I guess Robert has his panties in a bunch because he realized there’s no need for snarky fruits in Galt’s Gulch.

I both own and enjoy the movie (in spite of some bad acting, especially Cooper) But I’ll defend to the death your right to your opinion. :{)

Poor Roger is right. He was probably told he had to review it by his managing editors. It does seem like a piece written with him kicking and screaming the whole time.

"Fast & Furious Seven" is what he really wanted to see. Real relevant art there.........

Ebert actually downgraded his workload years ago. He only sees what he wants to. At this point he doesn’t have a ‘boss’.

This from the fool that said ‘Scarface’ was the best movie he had ever seen. What did you expect?

Roger Ebert, I thought he was dead!

Well, seeing as he hated the movie, most of us here will love it.

I’ll pony up the bucks to see it and take the hubby along.
