ZURICH A team of scientific experts has concluded a barrage of laser shots sent the 800-foot-long luxury liner to a watery grave with a loss of more than 1,500 lives.
Until Hostettlers shocking report, it was believed the 46,328-ton Titanic sank shortly before midnight after plowing into a giant iceberg in the North Atlantic on its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York.
Hostettler headed an international 10-member team of scientists who concluded that an alien spaceship capable of operating underwater was responsible for the Titanic disaster as well as the sinking of two other ships and an attack on a Greek trawler in the same area of the North Atlantic in mid-April 1912.
Their evidence:
- The Swedish ship, Angelholm Bay, lost radio contact with the outside world after its captain reported seeing a mysterious, oval-shaped object hovering off the port side at 1300 hours on April 13 the day before the Titanic disaster.
The captain reported the strange aircraft landed on the sea 1,000 yards away and quickly submerged. That was the ships last communication, Hostettler said. Our divers discovered the wreckage of the Angelholm Bay at the bottom of the ocean off the Greenland coast. Six laser-type holes were found in the hull.
- At 1530 hours of April 14, the captain of the Russian trawler Padomju Jaunathe radioed he was under attack by a strange-looking airship with the ability to also maneuver atop and underwater. The craft, he said, was firing deadly rays of light.
His last communique was picked up by a ham radio operator in Iceland, Hostettler said. The Padomju Jaunathe never reached its destination.
- The Greek trawler... Capt. Aris Nickolaidis reported that his ship had been attacked by a strange aircraft that melted his ship, Hostettler said.

"Coincidenza?"
Iceberg was photographed by chief steward on a liner just a few miles south of where the Titanic sank. Hard to see in a B&W photo, but that's a streak of red paint along the base of the berg.
Of course, I suppose the aliens carried a bucket of red anti-fouling paint just to throw everybody off the scent?
UFOs sinking ships?
That plot’s already been used in The Atomic Submarine (1959):

Underwater Frozen Object
No, no, no. He stepped through a hitherto-unseen door on the bridge, and is even now at the Captain’s Table... http://memory-alpha.org/wiki/Star_Trek:_The_Captain%27s_Table
Thanks, Ben!
Just in time; my garden needed pre-planting fertilizing, and this is primo!
UFO - Underwater Frozen Object ?
Top 50?
But that was “Erich Von Daniken” not “Erik von Datiken”. I wonder if the names or the people are related.
Even I thought that extremely beyond the realm of probability, as well as possibility.
yet, reading the article . . . some interesting facts, assuming the ‘scientific panel’ reported accurately.
What were your thoughts on it?
They need to work the Mayan calendar into their theory. Linking the sinking of the Titanic to 12-21-2012 would make the whole thing more believable.
Ping.
Of “Coast To Coast AM”-related interest.
This is f***ing ridiculous!
If nothing else, this concerns sunken stuff!
Time for a Hollywood remake. Distress twitters went unacknowledged because their iPads weren’t charged.
