Although -20 Daily Approval is not an all time low, the 19% "Strongly Approve" is a NEW LOW for Rasmussen.

All of those 19% either work at the White House or for the Democratic Party.

The day he announces his resignation, that strongly approve will skyrocket to 81%.

That's all that's on government payroll? Thought it was more than that. Maybe even government hand-out-ee's are beginning to abandon the Obama/Soetoro ship.

Has anyone ever been lower than this?

The print and electronic media in the USA is nothing more than The Obama Defense and Public Relations Team at this point.

Isn't it ironic that his ratings are so low largely because he's not liberal enough for many on the loony left?

Seems to me most of the variance now has to do with his hard-left base and how they feel about him. He has a solid 15% strong approve with the black and Islamic vote, then there's SEIU and the NEA and various ivory-tower academics who see him as protecting their jobs. He's down to the core, now.

I think this reflects Michael Moore type invincibly ignorant lefties turning on him in the hope of a new savior.

Yep, it is.

Subtract the 10-12 % black vote from this and you see the REAL magnitude!

Pretty much on the nail - we've got just the core left claiming they strongly approve of this epic failure. The good news is that with so small an echo chamber repeating his praises, the swing voters will begin to question the benefits of socialism. Obama's low "strongly approve" numbers will pull down his total approval as well. A lot of the "I approve (because I don't want you to think I'm a racist)" answers will switch to "I disapprove (not really a change but now I have the guts to say so)". What surprises me is that his strong disapproval is comparatively low.

THIS is a good sign. His own is now turning against him.

“he’s so done he’s crispy....”

LOL. Thx.

I think these numbers do not even begin to describe the hole that the President is in. I have followed Rasmussen on a daily basis for years now, and have found that whoever the president is, the numbers improve when the president is in a position to value approval most.

By that I mean that the President’s base tends to rally to his side when circumstances call for it. Yet here Obama has just signed a major budget deal, sent troops into Libya, just announced his reelection effort, etc. This would be a time when I would have thought the president would enjoy a temporary spike.

The fact that Obama’s base can’t even muster the strength to say “strongly approve” rather than merely “approve” at such a critical time ... well, this speaks volumes.

As others have pointed out, his African American base is rock, rock solid and overwhelmingly supportive. For his numbers to be dropping below the 20% SA threshold is huge, huge, huge.

Nothing is going his way, largely because the chickens of the past two years are coming home to roost.

Didn’t mean to say ‘troops into Libya.’

Also, unlike Clinton, Obama is not moving toward the center. If anything, he has moved further to the left and dug in since the midterms.

I see unfolding here the hubris of the left finally doing them in. I truly believe that we are on the brink of an era where we will slowly but relentlessly turn back a lot of the nonsense that has prevailed since the advent of the New Deal.

the strongly approve is now in new territory. With the strongly disapproving inching back to where it’s been for the past year in the mid 40s.

this should trend out nicely this week to -25 and above....Look for -22 tomorrow.
