I wish someone could explain how it is that more teams make the NHL playoffs than are in the NHL.

Damn straight. My hometown loyalty is still with the Vancouver Canucks, even if my beloved/adopted Kings get in their way. I was there at Staples at Game 7 when the Canucks beat LA...I escaped the crowd with my life LOL
Besides, even if I am a big Patrick Kane fan, I hate Chicago due to Obama.
post 13 was meant for you...my kudos for the respect u show my Canucks. If they have the playoffs here in L.A. with the Nucks (I was here on game 7 a year ago for the Western Conf finale), I;ll be damn happy.
