Is your file the same file from the top of the post or from elsewhere on the net? I think I agree with you although based on your larger file. Though I am still somewhat skeptical about the lack of overexposure on the top of Obama’s head.
So if the top pic is a fake it is a very, very good one, no doubt we can agree that the second photo is a very, very bad fake.

Look a the highlight on the back of his hand/wrist and compare it to the grandfather (... allowing for his darker skin).
His face might be in shadow, (see dappled shadows on wall.)
