“NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” was America’s number one newscast for the week ending March 6, 2011, according to Nielsen Media Research data.
The NBC broadcast delivered 9.319 million total viewers, ABC “World News’” 8.473 million and CBS “Evening News’” 6.023 million.

They seem a bit high. But when you compare them to the population or those that watch Dancing with the Stars
etc. it is pretty pathetic.
