Ok, though I was one of the very few on here who liked Jacobs voice, I am fine with his going home. I agree with iovine that he was losing his confidence and singing with some desperation. He did sound much better in his swan song ( until the end when mercifully the station ended the show).

But he has never put forth any gay agenda, coming out, bs. I was a huge lambert fan, but after AI, and even before with his glammy gay kissing online, he pushed his gayness into our faces. Jacob seems like someone who is flat out hormonally challenged. I don’t think he is deliberately acting that feminine; I don’t think he can help it. Do you know what I mean? He’s not deliberately flaming like a proud out gay — he’s just super effeminate. I do hope he plays his cards right and gets work using his incredible voice. He needs to not be back in Compton. It is too dangerous for him there.

I wasn't a Jacob fan and didn't care for his voice/style of music and wished he had gone home earlier. However, I am very glad that you posted what you posted. I was hoping that I wasn't the only one that felt the way you do.

I hate seeing fellow FReepers being so judgmental about something the person has no control over. This is one of the reason's Christians(and conservative non-Christians, too) are seen in such a bad light because too often we're guilty of being judgmental of others.

Jacob NEVER once positioned himself as gay. The guy was probably picked on unmercifully growing up, but he's never complained about that in any type of public forum. I respect the guy, and I don't believe he's chosen to live a gay lifestyle. Just because someone was born with effeminate characteristics does not make them gay.

I have hated the way that some on this board have slammed Jacob just because he's effeminate. Jacob is not Adam Lambert, and I don't think he's deserved the treatment he's gotten here at FR... Just saying...
