If you are a viewer of American Idol as well as a fan of Lady Gaga, we have some exciting news for you – Lady Gaga will be debuting the video for her new single “Judas” on the show during the week on May 1st. Interscope records made the announcement on their Twitter page and added that more details would follow soon. The video is said to be one that will have everyone talking after ward. Lady Gaga’s creative director, Laurieann Gibson told MTV news “It’s a phenomenal video – really powerful, really impact-ful.”
On Easter Sunday, Lady Gaga tweeted “Judas is about forgiveness and perseverance through struggle. Persevere today!” In the video, Lady Gaga takes on the role of Mary Magdalene and Laurieann Gibson also said of the video “I think that most people are already thinking that Gaga and the blasphemy and they’re premeditating the approach, and I think they’ll be very shocked to find out how huge and really groundbreaking the message is and how freeing the message is for all the right reasons. And it’s really going to shock the world.”
I suppose her next video will be called “Lucifer”, about how Lucifer stood up for his beliefs, and stayed true to himself.
