My childhood cat would put her paw underneath a door and jiggle it until someone let her in the room.
when i was growing up we had a few cats and one was named “Charlie”(it was girl). The dry cat food was undernneath the sink & to get to the crunchies she would hang on the top of the bottom cupboard door, place her left leg on the divider in between and push....swinging on the open door. She’d jump off and stik her nose in the bag and crunch away.
Skippy-another one (male) liked to go outside. We had a back porch bell with stiffly knotted cord to ring it.
When Skippy wanted inside, he’d reach up , pull the cord and ring the bell.
Those were the days of growing up with cats! What a hoot they were, those furry little critters.
