Former Memphis State/University of Memphis head coach Larry Finch died today in Memphis. He lead the Tigers to a FinalFour that lead to a championship game against Bill Walton’s UCLA team. The Tigers lost that one. Just a historical note on the Final Four weekend.

I “Heart” Shaka Smart (VCU coach). But I’m wearing my UK sweatshirt because my sister is a professor there. Don’t know what I’ll do if they play each other Monday night.

If there were ever an 0bama U, it would be VCU.

UCONN in a squeaker . I know they blew out UK in Maui Tournament but that’s not going to happen this time round .
VCU vs. Butler as tossup , but I’ll say Butler by 2 buckets .

Enlighten me. Please. At my age I miss the nuances. I could be converted to Butler.

If there were ever an 0bama U, it would be VCU. You got that right. Liberal faculty that couldn't make it anywhere else, an administration that treats the school budget as a personal ATM, and the absolute dumbest students I have ever had the opportunity to interview for employment.
 GO DOGS!

UConn Alum here, I know who I’ll be rooting for in one game. In the other, I’m not sure.

Fellow UConn alumnus here in Japan who will be watching via the internet / NCAA site . IF - and it’s a big IF - Kentucky can keep Kemba under 20 points , we’re in for trouble .
