Los Angeles police are looking for two men who beat and critically injured a San Francisco Giants fan in the Dodger Stadium parking lot after the opening day game. Sgt. Sanford Rosenberg said Friday that two men in Dodgers clothing followed three men in Giants gear as they walked to their car after Thursday night’s 2-1 Dodger victory.

The victim might have been Broxton had he not saved last night's game.

The crowd was rather hostile when he came out of the bullpen.

This will keep fans from Dodger Stadium. The owners better shell some bucks for a reward

What are the ticket prices...actually might be a good thing for the management to raise ticket prices to keep more of the riff raff out.

This will keep fans from Dodger Stadium...

Looks like it already is. The stands in LA look half empty tonight--except the scuzzy bleachers.

Why does the article include no descriptions of suspects?

Surely the victims have been interviewed by the police, and could have provided some details. What did they look like? What were they wearing?

Welcome to Mayor Antonio Viva-LaRaza’s Los Angeles...

Even with Tony Valar, LA has substantially less crime than say, Houston or Dallas Texas....In fact, places like St. Louis are crime war zones, making LA look like a church picnic in spring.

Per AP: “Police late Friday released composite sketches of the two suspects, who were wearing Dodgers clothing.”

No, it was three Giants surrounded by thousands of Dodgers fans, one of whom cheap-shotted the Giants fan. I suspect the two attackers had a lot of encouragement from the rest of the scuzz crowd.

As the friends walked toward the parking lot, one of the attackers punched Stow in the back of the head, police said.

Stow fell and hit his head on the pavement, and authorities say his attackers continued to kick him as he lay unconscious. His friends were attacked when they tried to intervene. Their injuries were minor, police said.

There's even an anchor baby accomplice. This story is making me very angry!

The suspects fled in a four-door sedan driven by a woman with a male child passenger in the vehicle, Moore said.

The victim might have been Broxton had he not saved last night's game.

I anticipate this will happen someday, the thugs will turn on some players. Broxton is especially hated. I have seen comments on the Dodgers facebook page and other blogs calling him a fat redneck pig, etc.; also, other comments complaining there are too many "whiteys" on the team.

I found an article in L.A. Times, the victim is in serious condition, and even though they provide the composite sketches they refuse to DESCRIBE the perpetrators. It's pretty obvious they are latino, yet we cannot even say or hear this now? TV news is avoiding description also.

Rosenberg said the victim was one of three Giants fans who were attacked in the parking lot by the two unidentified men wearing Dodgers clothing

. ...The incident was witnessed by several fans, he said. The assailants fled as people tried to assist the injured man, he said. Police said the incident was captured on a security camera video and witnesses have provided details about the assailants, including a distinctive tattoo.

"Dodger clothing" and "distinctive tattoo" are the only descriptors you can come up with?? Really??

Now, for the details on the human being who was beaten:

The Giants fan who was severely beaten at the end of the Dodgers home opener Thursday is a Santa Cruz paramedic and the father of two children.

Bryan Stow, 42, hit his head on the pavement during the attack and is in a medically induced coma, family members told the Santa Cruz Sentinel.

"He's not doing too well," brother-in-law David Collins told the paper. "He's still unconscious and they just decided to put him in a medically induced coma. They are hoping the brain swelling will go down, but it hasn't and they are talking about removing one of his frontal lobes."

I suspect in the past few years a lot of Dodger fans have defected over to the Angels.

Yep. I was born in downtown L.A., went to tough L.A. schools, and will not go to Dodger Stadium any more. It's just not worth subjecting my family to these jerks. We moved down to the south OC to raise our family and have followed the Angels ever since. Most of our kids are Angel fans (one's a Padre fan - always has to be different - LOL)

It's too bad, I have many fond memories at Dodger Stadium as a child.

I have a friend who worked security at Dodgers Stadium and he says that the Hispanics have virtually taken over and consider the ballpark their turf. Everyone else is fair game.

How sad....
