I enjoyed hearing him call an exhibition game last night, Dodgers v. Angels. He always throws in a funny, wry observation of the play. He truly loves this game and all the characters involved in it.

I enjoyed hearing him call an exhibition game last night, Dodgers v. Angels. He always throws in a funny, wry observation of the play. He truly loves this game and all the characters involved in it. I saw that game on TV, and two things were clear. One, Scully is still the best, at 80+ years. Second, the Dodgers still can't close out a game with Jonathan Oxton and a shoddy 2nd baseman.
