In leftist CA I found out quickly that my ‘friends,’ some of many years, were so upset by my “dangerous, vile, whacked out” political posts that they had to ‘unfriend’ me. As a result, I have all NEW friends and it’s worked out just fine. I like the quick back and forth of Facebook — and use it ONLY for political discourse now.
I unfriended someone (a radio interest pal) when he got upset after I made a post along the lines of “Robert Byrd, a prominent Klansman, has died. I think he was also a Senator” :)
