Why are you so tacky about a young person who has done nothing offensive?
I think the Bush girls turned out to make any parent proud...and they aren't interested in running for political office.

I actually think you could say the same about Chelsea who has done nothing to get the hatred here. Yes she went on a few trips overseas with her mother and some folks didn’t particularly like that. As a child, she was rude with the Secret Service but since has magically grown up. I actually think both the Bush girls and Chelsea turned out fine considering who their parents were (referring to Chelsea in that point). Some are making fun of her looks....no need for that.
...also, Mamzelle's post had more to do with the rumblings of Jeb running for office....

.....and, if Jenna wanted to be out of the public eye, she wouldn't have coveted working for NBC as a morning host!!....not many folks who want to avoid the public eye enjoys being front & center on a daily news program.

And all you need to do is read Laura Bush's snippy, arrogant little bio (you can find it in religious book stores, for pity's sake) letting all of us conservatives know that she really was never one of us--she likes abortion, she thinks homosexuals should marry, and wants the borders thrown open so she has lots of slaves to wait on her while she reads romance novels. And her daughters are just as silly and lazy as she is.
Laura was miffed because she never got to hang with the Kennedys because of the mal-odour of rustic conservatives like me.
Bill Clinton controlled the borders. Jimmy Carter controlled our borders. But the Bush family wanted to please all their loyal body servants, nannies and dog-poop-picker-uppers by refusing to protect our national sovereignty. GW grew up with some illegal wiping his rear end because Bar was too good to do it herself. Laura couldn't even look after Scottie without help. And she thinks she's so much better than a conservative housewife who makes her own bed, takes care of her own children, and doesn't try to talk her husband into turning the US over to Mexico.
