We already pay by the mile when we drive and pay taxes on the fuel we buy. If the proposal is to add yet another punitive tax then I say that instead of paying in cash, which is becoming unstable, we pay it in the form of a more fungible commodity, like lead.

if something like this was forced upon the masses of america, i would be in full support of all out removal of every elected political official and every appointed official. THAT was MY first thought....we ALREADY pay taxes on GAS for this VERY reason.....they really do think we are stupid.
