Planes, Trains and Automobiles with Steve Martin and John Candy is without doubt the funniest movie of all time.

Everytime I think of Candy's occupation (shower curtain ring salesman) in the movie, I burst out laughing.

John Candy - now that's a guy I really miss, I was the biggest SCTV fan back in the day.

One of the few times I’ve nearly laughed myself into unconsciousness was the scene in Bowfinger, when the Golden retriever, Betsy, placed in hi-heels/clogs at the parking garage, so Eddie Murphy thought he heard somebody following him. Every time he stopped, the dog naturally stopped. When he walked more quickly, the dog followed more quickly. Great idea.
